Bio

My name is Tammy Edde and I teach Social Health. I am a 1981 graduate of Rutledge High School.  I  earned both my bachelor's and Master's degree in Family and Consumer Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.  I am married to Uriel Edde III and we have three children; Kristina, Jenna and Tanner.

I am passionate about what I teach.  Every student can benefit from this curriculum as they journey through the somewhat challenging middle school years.  Social Health teaches skills ar that skills that last a life time.  Skills such as listening, communication and organization are taught.  Nutrition, exercise, anatomy, human life cycle, and career awareness are also discussed.  Social Health helps students plan for success in all aspects of their life; self, family, community, and school.  Students will develop essential life skills needed now and into their adult years.
